Your procedure will be performed under LOCAL ANESTHESIA AND ORAL SEDATION (HALCION). Please note the following pre-operative instructions.
A responsible adult must bring you to your appointment, stay in the patient lounge during your visit, and drive you home afterward.
You can eat your regular meals before your appointment.
Remove all oral and facial jewelry or piercings before your appointment.
Wear loose clothing or a T-shirt. In winter, dress in layers to stay comfortable.
If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must come with you.
If you are a minor’s legal guardian, please bring proof of guardianship.
Your appointment time might change based on the day’s schedule.
Please make sure your dental plan is up to date and inform us of any changes. Also, please let us know whether you have experienced any respiratory issues or seasonal allergies in the six weeks preceding your surgery, as anesthesia may not be safe in these situations.
